Hello and welcome!

I’ve always held a special place in my heart for weddings. It’s certainly in thanks to being younger than nearly all of my cousins and attending their weddings. To this day, I can remember details from each of their weddings. I couldn't help but marvel at the elegance and uniqueness of each one. Knowing it was just the beginning of a shared life.

My start as a wedding photographer was a lot of happenstance. I was asked to second shoot my first wedding when I was just starting my photography degree. An opportunity I am so very grateful for. Later on, small talk between my hubby and a teammate during a softball game of all things, resulted in me second shooting with his wife for many years and gaining an invaluable friend. Both instances are beautiful examples of God’s perfect timing.

A memory is a union of moments. I’m passionate about documenting them so they can be cherished for years to come. That passion has only increased since I became a mama and I try to cling to all the moments that pass far too quickly. Frames and albums of beautiful moments from a shared life are strewn throughout our home and I wouldn’t want it any other way. It’s truly an honor to be able to create artwork for my clients’ homes.

Preserving memories by photographing moments.

A few quick facts

  • I’m raising two little gentlemen with my hubby in the Milwaukee area. We also have a couple fur babies, so our house is bustling!

  • I’m a soft autumn. I’m still learning how to embrace my colors, but when an outfit clicks, it’s pretty empowering.
(If you’re interested in learning yours, the ladies over at Created Colorful are amazing and so encouraging!)

  • My go to music is Billy Joel, NEEDTOBREATHE and AJR.

  • I love Impressionism and the work of Pierre-Auguste Renoir (my birthday buddy!)

  • In another life, I think I’d be a doula. The miracle of life is awe-inspiring. Mamas are amazing and to be able to support them while welcoming their Little Ones would be a privilege.
